How You Can Help

Make a donation

Brendan’s Meadows Rescue is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. It is our mission to rescue homeless, neglected and abused dogs and finding them a permanent, loving home. It is inevitable that veterinary expenses will be incurred as part of rescuing dogs. We view this as an investment in the happy lives of our four-legged friends. We depend on donations and volunteers like you to keep our organization going and help find homeless dogs the loving home and care they deserve.

We are happy to share updates regarding our furry foursome with critical medical needs: Three of the dogs had heartworm disease and one required hip surgery. All have been treated, loved and cared for, and are on their way to a healthy, normal life. These are dogs that would have been written off had it not been for BMR. Read their stories in our Placements section. Thank you very much for your support!

Get involved

One of the primary activities that Brendan’s Meadows participates in is helping to transport dogs from kill-shelters to non-kill-shelters as well as to foster and forever homes. If anyone would like to participate, we are always looking for drivers, vehicles, even just someone to go along for the ride. There are runs almost every weekend and it usually takes about three hours of your time. There are lots of groups that do this every weekend and we support whoever is running. It is such a wonderful thing to do and we know that we are making a real impact.
